Positive: We had an amazing time in Cabanas da Viscondessa. The place is unique, settled in the middle of nature. We had a warm welcome from the owner and could enjoy delicious diner every night from the talented couple who are managing the restaurant. It’s a dream place we will remember and hopefully come back!

Positive: My husband and I had such a wonderful time at Cabanas da Viscondessa. The Cabana itself was perfect– fully functioning kitchen with everything you need, spacious living area, beautiful back deck, nice bathroom with waterfall shower, and comfortable bed with AC throughout. The restaurant was also wonderful to have on site, we ate breakfast and dinner there and had great meals. Ample parking space in parking lot, easy communication with owner and very friendly and helpful staff!

Positive: These cabanas are in the middle of a Eucalyptus forest. The cabanas are beautifully designed, equipment is just about enough. The tranquility and the sunlight shining through the big windows make it a perfect holiday. Outstanding veranda.

Negative: There were not enough lamps in the cabana, reading was only possible in bed. I got a cabana with disabilty access so everything was super low. After 3 days my back was really hurting.

Positive: Jorge is a fantastic host and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. He helped organise taxis for our hikes and gave us excellent recommendations. The cabanas were probably the best accommodation on the island and we had a very comfortable stay. The outdoor patio was particularly peaceful with sounds of birds chirping and lots of greenery around. We could park our car for free. There was restaurant on site (with great views of Mount Pico) which was open for dinner and that was an additional advantage as we didn’t need to step out in the evening.

Summary: Excellent experience. 100% will stay here again and will recommend to anyone interested.

Positive: Breakfast very good for 2-3 days afterwards a bit monotonous. But you can use the Kitchen in the Studios and enjoy the great terrasse. Really nice owner of the Cabins. Best restaurant on the island, (french cook ;) )
