Positive: This property has an excellent location, which is close to all the must-see attractions and conveniently near the docking area for boats. There’s also a shop nearby for any essentials you might need, and just across from the apartment is a cozy little bar, perfect for a drink after a long day. The main center, with plenty of dining options, is within easy walking distance, and the transportation links are just around the corner. Inside, the open-plan living and kitchen area is ideal for a group of people to unwind and relax together after exploring the city. It’s the perfect setup for a comfortable and convenient stay. The kitchen is pristine and fully equipped with all the cooking materials you need to make your stay comfortable. The toilet is modern and updated, adding a nice touch to the apartment. With a total of two toilets and two shower areas, it’s especially convenient if you’re staying as a group, offering plenty of space for everyone to get ready without feeling crowded.

Negative: Staying at this residential building was a frightening experience for me and my friends. After a long day of being tourists, we were simply having dinner, chatting, and watching TV when, out of nowhere, there was loud knocking at our door. A man outside was shouting and aggressively trying to open the door. We weren’t having a party, nor were we drinking—just debriefing on our day and planning for the next. We were a group of girls and understandably terrified. At one point, we almost opened the door to check, but he began banging so loudly it seemed like he was trying to force his way in. When we messaged the owner, they said there was nothing they could do. It felt like we couldn’t make any kind of noise or movement at night without fear of disturbing someone. The entire stay felt like walking on eggshells. In addition, there’s a very late check-in time at 5 pm, and no option to store luggage if you arrive early. Communication with the owner was slow, and they weren’t very responsive to our queries. This made what could have been a nice stay incredibly stressful. The rooms are quite spacious, offering plenty of room to move around, but the walls, flooring, and doors could benefit from some updating. While the toilet is modern and well-maintained, the shower area in the main room lacks a door, which might not be ideal for some guests. Additionally, the sliding windows leading to the balcony could use a good cleaning, as they were dusty and had noticeable water stains. With a bit of attention to these details, the space could be much more comfortable and appealing.

Negative: No AC It is true property at last floor and can open balcony doors But 2 nights we had lots of heat and no wind. We couldn’t sleep. Also one of the rooms when you open windows hoping for wind , you get mostquito early in the morning and early evening The fans in the house are small. They need sealing fans or bigger fans.

Positive: It is a great and convenient location (many city tourist attractions are within 1,5 km distance = walkable even with kids). Apartment is spacious and kitchen and bathrooms are newly and modern finish, plus everything works there. And lastly the view out of the main living room is great!

Negative: Photos in the advert are a bit better looking than reality (still the view out of the windows is impressive). Main issue - noise, first it was windy (3 days that we've stayed) and wind noise sometimes was even scary, it is also noisy street, so at night it very noisy and you can't close the windows because it is hot and there is no AC (wind helps with cooling). Lastly - shower without doors to main bedroom is not practical, while traveling couple families with kids, no washing machine (although plenty of space) and missing some small appliances in the kitchen.

Summary: Great location and views out the windows, but windy and noisy at night. Score is more of 8,5

Positive: We had a very enjoyable stay at Côté Vieux Port. The view of Marseille was spectacular. The one nearest to the entrance has an amazing view of sunrise so be sure to nab that room first. The other rooms also have great views of the city and port. The apartment was clean when we came in and we were very pleased with the facility. The location is also very good. It’s a short walk to the port where there are tons of restaurants and night life. I was able to walk all the way to Marseille Cathedral from where we lived. All in all, it was a great stay and we highly recommend this apartment.

Positive: The property was in a great location and the lounge / kitchen area was very light with a great view of the port. The beds were very comfortable

Negative: The electricity kept tripping when we put the kettle on and the host did not respond to my message about it. The light in one of the toilets was very poor and you can only check in from 5pm so it is difficult when you arrive and have nowhere to put your luggage.
