Summary: Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great. They would provide you with 3 great options for hot breakfast and had access to the cold buffet items. They were conscious of my wife's gluten allergy and made accommodations. The area around the Inn had farm animals and llamas. There was also a trail to the falls. Overall very happy

Summary: We liked everthing, the only problem was the air conditioner was loud, we did not like the pillows. The place was beautiful and the service was great, we would come back.

Summary: It is in a gorgeous setting. A beautiful place to walk around and admird landscaping, views, swans, peacpcks, the Hudson river, etc. Staff is lovely and very accomodatng. I will be back.

Summary: Buttermilk Falls grounds are lovely and the ménage of animals (llamas, donkeys, pigs, chickens) are delightful to explore. The staff is very friendly and helpful. That said, there’s no security at night after 9:00PM and the doors to the Inn are left unlocked. In the event of emergency, your ‘re told to call 911. More thought should be given to overnight security. The rooms have lots of potential but are a bit tired and could use updating ….better lighting, overhaul of electric sockets, improved internet, larger TV’s and less dowdy furnishings (especially in the common area). On a positive note breakfast is perfect and the staff in the dining room couldn’t be nicer. First class Henry’s restaurant is right on the property opposite the main inn. The Red House, Asian Fusion restaurant is a quick 3 min drive up the road and serves wonderful sushi and an array of interesting Asian delights. All in all with a bit of updating this place could really be special.
