Positive: Location was great. Comfortable mattresses. Shower was great. Breakfast was ok. Car park was easy.

Negative: Some fundamental features were missing! There was only one round table diameter 50cm and one single chair in the room. We were two people; were we supposed to share the single chair! I had to ask for an extra chair to be brought in. There was only one side table. There was space for the other one, so why not provide it? I had to put my glasses, glass of water and various things you put on a side a table on the floor!! There was no wardrobe or drawers, just a rail with hangers. The lighting was very poor. They had placed a Nespresso coffee machine in a dark corner of the room with no light. My wife had to use her phone torch while I operated the machine, and that was during daylight! Wanted to go to lobby with my wife to sit down and chill, were told there was no lobby! They only had a bar or a restaurant. We sat in the bar and ordered a drink for my wife. I didn't want any and told staff. We were the only people there. During the time I was there, the waiter came four times and asked me if I wanted a drink! Which I said no. Four times!! Breakfast was basic. In the end I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome we left! And this hotel isn't cheap.... We both got the impression that management was cutting corners everywhere. Overall, there is room for improvement.

Positive: Great location and beautiful surroundings. Easy parking.

Negative: No elevator. Staff seems always to be different people, most of the time friendly, sometimes pretentious, but never got the feeling they really cared (except maintenance and cleaning; they were very helpful). They tried an herbal theme hotel, but the style is completely lost. The coziness the area is known for is not found at this hotel. The restaurant wasn't our thing; a stab at fine dining, but for this price, it was disappointing.
