Summary: 4 star hotel but way too much dust from lobby to suite floors, dusty walls, pictures, light fixtures, so many dusty nicknacks it was ridiculous. Otherwise woukd have been a 5 star stay.

Summary: Absolutely everything was beyond perfection in this amazing establishment. The host, Chris, was friendly and accommodating upon my arrival and even drove me to the airport the next morning to retrieve my vehicle. The hotel is spotless, quaint and quirky and invites a person to wander and wonder. When I entered my suite, I honestly believe that my mouth dropped open at the whimsical decor and use of accessories and sheer amazement of what I was about to enjoy. I walked through the suite recording and commenting on my camera phone so that I could share it with my 2 adult children. Everything is very tastefully decorated by Chris' wife Sandi and I felt like it had been done just for me!!! In the morning, at the continental breakfast in the stunning dining room, I chatted with one couple who had stayed several times and the wife agreed that the "Secret Garden" was a favorite suite. Honestly, I did not want to leave and when Chris drove me to retrieve my truck I told him that the Brookside Inn had spoiled me for any other hotel. We parted with a big hug as good friends would do.
