Positive: The accommodation was very clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds, good wifi. The coffee from the coffee maker was delicious and the breakfast was great - the owners have a cafe opposite, but they don't work on Sundays.

Negative: The accommodation is further from the center, but the bus stop was a few steps away. It was on the 3rd floor.

Positive: Location was fine. A 10 minute walk across The Meadows to get to the Old Town. Quiet area at night, but a few cafes and pubs nearby. We mainly used it just as a place to sleep as we were spending time with friends from abroad who were visiting Edinburgh. The flat was very well furnished, with lots of nice touches. Very welcoming.

Negative: Couldn't figure out how to get the DVD player to connect to the TV! Couldn't open bedroom window as there was a bees' nest close by outside, so the bedroom was a bit stuffy (warm weather).

Summary: Great place to stay - would be very happy to return.

Positive: We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit in Edinburgh. The train station is a bit of a walk maybe 30 minutes but it was enjoyable. There was a four burner stove and oven with plenty of utensils included to prepare food. It was a very comfortable stay for the three of us.

Negative: People elsewhere in the building smoke and the smell of cigarette smoke is noticeable (not strong, the owners have put filters about the place that helps somewhat) especially in the morning and the evening. The apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator this might be a problem for some people.

Summary: Very comfortable stay, that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Positive: very good localization, walking distance to city centre. apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Negative: some issues with entering the apartment that was sorted very quickly by the owner so overall It was not an issue
