Positive: Centrally located, spacious apartment with all the amenities. Our host, Sigbritt, was prompt and helpful prior to and during our stay. This is a very comfortable space to stay in with a homelike feel to it. Very relaxing. And good, close, and safe parking if you have a car. Would definitely stay here again and also stay longer than just 2 nights.

Negative: There is some traffic noise late at night, but only a problem if you are a very light sleeper. Otherwise, no other issues or concerns on our part.

Summary: Excellent weekend stay in Klaksvik.

Negative: As there were four of us and although we knew that there was only one bedroom and the sofabed in the loungeroom, we did not realise that the bathroom was actually an ensuite to the bedroom. Thankfully we were able to use the communal. toilet and shower upstairs.

Positive: First off, the location was superb, slightly elevated and ability to walk down to main street area in about five minutes. Bed very comfortable, place was spacious, and kitchen well supplied. The house has some personality as well, with original art which I am always drawn to. I also liked the map of the Faroe Islands displayed under glass at the kitchen table. And the hostess, Sabrita (? spelling) was gracious and warm. Probably the only criticism was that the bath towels were very rough. Besides that, I liked the place very much would recommend and certainly stay there again.

Negative: As said above, only criticism and it is a small one in the larger context of how much liked the place - was the bath towels are rough.

Summary: Superb location, large space with original art, super comfortable bed, and warm gracious hostess.
