This lovely, south-facing detached 17th-century farmhouse is set in 1-acre of sheltered gardens, situated on the outskirts of the pretty rural hamlet of Littleham. Ideal for a family get-together. Good country walking and only 3 miles from the coastal footpath and Tarka Trail cycle route. Guests are welcome to use the miles of farm walks shown on the map. Village pub with good food and beer garden, 5 minutes’ walk. Within the grounds is the popular double storey games room with table tennis, pedal tractor, go-kart, toys etc.
Just 3 miles from the historic port and market town of Bideford, and just 5½ miles from the seaside and sandy beach at Westward Ho! Fishing villages with beaches within 20 minutes’ drive include Clovelly, Bucks Mill and Instow. Take a boat trip to Lundy, 3 miles, or visit the Rosemoor RHS gardens and Dartington Crystal Glass Factory, 7 miles. The Tarka Trail and the Big Sheep are both within 10 minutes’ drive - great for a family day out. Two local reservoirs for fishing.
Local activities include swimming, surfing, tennis, horse riding, golf, wind surfing and mountain boarding. A retail shopping outlet and supermarket (online delivery available) are 2½ miles away. There is also a tennis club five minutes away for tennis enthusiasts! Village pub with good food and beer garden, 5 minutes’ walk.

Summary: We (family of 9) spent a wonderful few days at Boundstone Cottage over the New Year.The house is warm, clean, well equipped and very well placed to for trips to the coast, shopping or exploring on foot. The local village pub was very welcoming and only a short walk away.We loved the traditional feel of the cottage, the wood fires and cooking in the the big farmhouse kitchen. The hot-tub was clean and warm and we made very good use of it (and the broadband).Rosanna couldn't be more helpful and was always quickly on hand if we had an questions or request.Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return one day soon!

Summary: We were unlucky with the weather - very wet for 4 days, but still had a good break. Farmhouse is comfortable and warm and table tennis table in games room was a big hit. Summary: I have marked the cleanliness and local amenities down slightly, not because it was a problem for us, it was perfect, but in case people are expecting 5 star pristine hotel like accommodation and shops nearby. It is a farmhouse and perfect t for families and it is secluded so a drive is necessary to shops. Summary: Loved this house, love Devon but not the hills and little lanes. House and garden was very spacious though a little worn out. Think that maybe as the house is very old. We were disappointed there were no eggs to collect or animals to see as this was one of the reasons we booked this house. The description on website needs to be up dated. Summary: Boundstone Farm was a great base for our week in North Devon. There is plenty of space both inside and out and great access to the countryside and footpaths in the area. Although the property is in a rural location, there is easy access to local attractions and facilities.

Summary: A lovely old farmhouse with some amazing old pieces of furniture. A well equipped kitchen. Make sure you let the owner know you want the hot tub because it is not included in the overall cost of the property. The local pub - all of 5 minutes walk away - is very friendly and serves great food. Well worth a visit. No local shops though so make sure you take what you need with you. Some parts of the property could have done with a good old polish. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help with everything from suggested days out to saving the day with olive oil and toothpicks. Yes, I would go again.

Summary: We have just spent a wonderful week with the family in this beautiful cottage. Amazing space for the kids to enjoy, inside and outside. The owner made us feel so very welcome and we arrived to freshly made scones. We enjoyed the hot tub and BBQ. Would definitely recommend this place. The local pub does a fantastic Sunday dinner too. Great week!
