Positive: the hosts werefriendly and patient on our arrival and questions on entering location

Negative: there was a leak in bedroom which when rained leaked onto bed and a/c didn't work well in same room

Positive: Just minor things. Dust in the TV area and in the wick next to the tv. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom is broken. Should take out the little black piece that is sticking out completely, paint the wall, and have a toilet paper holder separate. The Paint in the big room ceiling is coming off. Should have counter space (or chair) in the small room to put bags. But the vibe of the place was very nice!

Positive: Apartment has good space and layout for a family of 4, it's a short walk to the beach and close to many other areas of interest, and includes useful amenities (specifically, a full kitchen (but no dishwasher) and a simple washing machine with dryer function). There are air conditioners in every room and the temperature was always comfortable. There is some street parking available, although the street can get busy because there is a very popular hamburger restaurant on the corner. The property manager was very responsive when we initially had some trouble checking into the apartment.

Negative: There can be a lot of street noise from the busy street nearby and restaurant patrons passing by. It was especially noisy over the weekend but more quiet on weekdays. The apartment was not totally clean when we first arrived -- we had to do some sweeping in the kitchen and the rugs needed to be vacuumed. There are also a few walls that could use a new paint job. The automatic lock to the main entrance of the apartment building does not work very well. We could just pull the door open without entering a code most of the time. Fortunately, there is a gate with a lock to get into the apartment itself to provide some additional security.

Summary: Decently comfortable and close to the beach but street noise can be loud

Negative: Complications with correct key code. No beach towels, no pool noodles, not enough information on things to do near san juan or info pertaining to surrounding islands.
