The Boca Grande Beach House, North Unit is 1/2 of a one-story duplex. The house is casual and comfortable. It has two bedrooms (the front bedroom has a king bed that can be converted to 2 twin beds). Please give advance notice and the room can be arranged to fit your needs), a kitchen, bathroom, and combination living room/dining room. The kitchen and bathroom have recently been completely remodeled. There is a large screened-in porch across the back of the house. When the entire house is rented by the same party, double doors can be opened for access from the South to the North Units. Each side of the house has a generous side yard with table, chairs and chaise lounges. You can choose to rent the North or South unit separately or the entire house.
The house is in a terrific location on a large corner lot, directly across the road from a 7-mile beach with bathrooms and picnic tables. It is caddy-corner to the historic Gasparilla Lighthouse. A short walk will take you to the charming village of Boca Grande with fun shopping and great restaurants. At the Boca Grande Community Center, you will find a workout room & play ground for kids. Don't miss the Johann Fust Library on 10th St. where you can borrow books and movies.Tennis courts and a Friday Farmer's Market (during season) are at the end of our street. The seven mile jog/bike path runs directly in front of the property.
Most of our guests choose to return year after year and consider it their 'home away from home’.Once you are on the island, you do not need a car. Golf carts and bikes can be rented in town.
I can recommend a reasonable van service to pick you up at the following airports: Punta Gorda (PGD) 45 min.,Sarasota Airport (SRQ) 1hr. 20min., Ft. Myers (RSW) 1hr. 30min., Tampa (TPA) 2 hrs, Miami (MIA) 3 hrs.

Summary: Perfection sums up this rental. Warm comfortable atmosphere. Complete with everything possible for you to relax and enjoy your stay. The screened in porch makes it nice to enjoy the evening air. In less than 3 minutes your toes are in the sand. No driving needed. We never missed a sunset!! We look forward to returning again.

Summary: This wonderful property is incredibly well located, well stocked, and simply delightful. It was a perfect location for my husband, me and our 2 young adult sons to spend a relaxing week in Boca Grande. Our attentive host checked on us via text during our stay; everything we needed was supplied; a thoughtful notebook listed local restaurants, attractions, and all necessary instructions for the property. Summary: My family and I stayed here during our annual summer family vacation and we loved it! The house is directly across the street from the beach, beautiful beach at that, which isn't packed with people because you're on an island! We also brought our boat and purchased a slip at Boca Grande Marina. The location was perfect, the house was clean, roomy, and the management was great. Mike and Molly are easy to work with and very communicative. We will DEF be back next summer. Thanks again Mike and Molly for sharing your piece of paradise with myself and my family. PS, please read the little note in your guest book inside the house, my 9 year old son wrote it and it will make you smile. ~Jess
