Welcome to Blueyonder, a custom-built, solar powered, private residence on Staniel Cay’s prestigious Ocean Ridge. The only property on the ridge to offer access to three beaches and over 3 acres of land, this home meets all of your vacation needs!
Built on the highest point of the ridge, Blueyonder overlooks an unforgettable coastline. With incredible views as far as the eye can see, you can enjoy your morning coffee watching the sunrise over the Atlantic and, in the evening, watch the sunset over the Exuma Banks.
Blueyonder has been designed to offer guests all the pleasures of contemporary living along with the beachfront setting that epitomizes the Ocean Ridge’s distinctive appeal. The home boasts 4,600sf of living space, along with over 1,000sf of patio and decking. Choose to be outside under the homes expansive covered terrace enjoying the easterly breezes or go down to the homes wonderful sundeck for some Vitamin D. This multi-leveled property offers something for every guest and has no limit of cool tropical breezes.
All four bedrooms are tastefully decorated with en-suite bathrooms featuring contemporary fixtures and Bisazza Mosaico tiled showers. Each room boasts breathtaking views of the Atlantic with access to private terraces through sliding glass impact-resistant doors.
Upstairs you can enjoy a thoughtfully laid-out open floor plan, with unsurpassed 360° views. A designer kitchen featuring Gaggenau double ovens and gas range, large refrigerator and freezer along with double refrigerator drawers, a spacious cooktop and fully stocked kitchen, a gourmet meal prepared by yourselves or by a local chef is at your fingertips. The upstairs kitchen also features a separate bar with an icemaker, wine cooler and mini fridge.
Connected to the kitchen is a high-top counter with bar stools along with a large dining area with seating for ten. The interior design and layout of the house was perfect for our family. The house manager, Chris, provided a high level of service for all of our needs. Summary: Amazing views! We just got back from a fabulous ladies’ getaway in the beautiful Exuma Cays. We absolutely loved visiting Staniel Cay for the first time, and honestly didn’t want to leave. The turquoise waters, the gorgeous beaches, the warmth and hospitality of everyone we met was a delight. Blue Yonder is in fantastic condition with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, an amazingly well-stocked kitchen and vast amounts of entertainment options from kayaks and snorkeling gear to books and games and tv. Being able to walk the Ocean Beach and see minimal people was amazing, as was kayaking in the Creek. Michelle and Gavin do a terrific job, and we felt like we wanted for nothing! The meals that she cooked were outstanding. We loved relaxing on our deck watching the sunsets, as well as having cocktails at the Yacht Club, snorkeling at the Grotto, seeing the swimming pigs and iguanas, and of-course we went to a different sandbar every day to lounge and swim. We loved every minute of this trip. Thanks for an amazing vacation, we will definitely be back!
