Brand new, stylish, elegant, 1 bedroom apartment with office above a garage, located on 10.5 acres and a 3 minute drive from Woodstock.
Fully equipped kitchen, cozy lounge room with fireplace, beautiful bathroom, vaulted ceilings with weathered wood beams, antique doors with glass knobs and antique chandeliers create an ambience of old and new world charm.
The apartment is located in a separate building from the main house where the owner lives with their lovable labradoodle "Buddy". Great quiet location.
The owners wanted to create a space that was warm & comfortable with a touch of rustic, old world charm. The weathered beams , chandeliers, old doors with crystal knobs combine the old and new charm and elegance to every room. A full kitchen has everything one needs to cook a gourmet meal with pots & pans, platters, drip coffee machine & french press coffee maker, nutri bullet, wine refrigerator, GE CAFE series gas range & a large GE fridge .
The quartz countertops & the kitchen island create an exceptional kitchen space where you can sit and enjoy mountain views out the kitchen window while sipping your morning coffee.
The Master bedroom hosts a Queen sized bed, with storage room for luggage and hanging space . The office has a desk 3 large storage cupboards for luggage and hanging space and living room has additional pull out couch.
The bathroom has a European feel with Spanish ceramic tile , and a rain shower with glass enclosure. The vanity provides lots of drawers and cupboards for toiletries . There is also weathered beam shelving which provides additional storage space in the bathroom. There is an old school house window feature in the bathroom to create light.
There are weathered beams throughout the vaulted ceilings in every room & the chandeliers bring a sense of elegance and chic to the space.
The fireplace is the focal point of the lounge room & creates a cozy ambience. There is a 55 inch TV that you can logon to your streaming platforms.
All lighting is dimmable throughout the apartment and every room has a very efficient AC/ heating system for your comfort depending on the season.
Downstairs on the first floor there is a full laundry room/ mudroom where you can leave your jackets, shoes and ski gear.
The deck is very private from the main house and overlooks the woods. One has a sense of being in the treetops.You can dine at the outdoor table and chairs on the deck and soak up the sun on the chaise lounges, while reading a book or taking a nap.
There is a washer/ dryer located on the first floor for your convenience during your stay. You can close the door to reduce the noise.

Summary: I stayed at this location with my family for two nights for Thanksgiving! The place is just like the pictures, if not nicer. The apartment has everything you need and everything is new and super clean. We brought our own Thanksgiving dinner and Christine, the owner, had everything we needed in her kitchen to warm up and make a nice homey family dinner for us. I loved how comfortable the furniture was throughout the apartment, from the living room furniture, to the kitchen stools and the beds. The entire apartment is beautifully decorated, but most importantly, the entire apartment was super clean. The gas fire place made the place nice and warm. We loved staying so close to the center of Woodstock (3-5 min drive) and enjoyed walking around the center of town. Christine, was reachable, yet not intrusive. I requested an additional stool for the kitchen and she immediately brought one over to us. She also lefts us a plate of delicious brownies and pumpkin squares in the fridge for us to enjoy. We also loved meeting Buddy, her labradoodle who was super friendly and lovable! I would definitely stay at this location again and highly recommend it.

Summary: My husband and I had a wonderful and relaxing weekend getaway at Chrissy and Len’s Blissful Retreat! A beautifully decorated and super clean apartment on 10 acres of wooded property. Len & Chrissy were friendly and attentive hosts. Highly recommend.

Summary: This house is such a gem: beautifully appointed, spotless, perfectly laid out, and fully equipped. Christina is the most fabulous, kind, generous, helpful host. The 10-acre property is breathtaking and incredibly peaceful. We hope to stay there again as soon as possible.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Christina’s cozy retreat with our small family including our 1 year old baby. The space is immaculately clean, well designed and with multiple thoughtful touches like conveniently located USB ports in wall plugs, numerous lights on dimmers, a fully stocked kitchen, and tons of storage for luggage and other bulky items. Christina was a phenomenal host- quickly responsive and even left us thoughtful treats on arrival. The space was perfect for our early walker though we brought our own baby gate for the stairwell which worked great. We’ve stayed in a lot rentals in Woodstock and this is easily one of the best- we can’t wait to return!
