Positive: I don’t even know from where to begin. At first I would like to say that this place is the best we stayed in Sri Lanka. For sure! When we booked on booking.com there was only one review about this place, so we did not know what to expect. But Deshan wrote us immediately and asked if we needed any help with our arrival. We asked him a lot of questions and he was very friendly to answer all of it. We are very grateful because he made us feel safe and welcomed. So when we came to Sri Lanka all their family welcomed us with coconuts drinks and we had a nice chat with them. That was very nice.🫶🏼 We also had a very tasty traditional breakfast made by Deshan mom, who was very friendly and warm to us☺️ Deshan sister gave us goodbye presents, that was also very sweet. We will always remember them!💛 Talking about the apartment - it is on the second floor and it has everything you would need! In the kitchen you can find anything you need for cooking. We enjoyed making fruits cocktails! Two spacious bedrooms with large and comfortable beds, pillows also very comfortable. AC in both bedrooms, also there are fans. One of the best things, that you can get in the bathroom is shower with excellent water pressure and of course hot water. Also we got a lot of toilet paper and towels. There is also a washing machine it was very useful for us. The terrace is decorated very nicely so you can enjoy in the morning or evening and relax listening to birds and watching street. Actually everything is like in the pictures and even better! The location is also very good is not far from Unawatuna, so mostly we grabbed a tuk tuk on the main street or sometimes we used a pickme app. Deshan also gave us a drive when he could. The beach is very close also, about 5-8 min walk. The most important thing is that the apartment is very very clean. We felt like at home here. For the price we paid we got everything and even mire than we expected. Very good value for money we paid.

Negative: We did not like, that we couldn’t stay here longer:(

Positive: We booked this topfloor apartment in Blissful House without ratings on Booking, and didnt know what we should expect. But when we arrived the family welcomed us with open arms and showed us this fantastic apartment, perfect apartment for 4 persons (second floor of a villa) We were their first guests ever, and the apartment is the best we have stayed in Sri Lanka, everything was new and fresh. Two large bedrooms including AC, with large double beds,large kitchen with lots of accessories together with the living room, and a nice bathroom with hot water (even fans in all rooms). Very large lovely balcony with outdoor furniture, and a smaller balcony to one of the bedrooms. The family really wanted us to have a good time and feel comfortable in their home, and we really did. An absolutely fantastic family and accommodation. Can really warmly recommend staying here, and we will definitely stay here if we return to the city.
