Positive: The place is adorable. It is small, but it is well designed and has everything you need. James and Lucy are great hosts, full of information, and we found out what a small world it is! We ate dinner (need to book) and breakfast at The Long Dock. Both meals were delicious. There are three lively pubs in Carrigaholt. Visit Loop Head lighthouse, Bridges of Ross, and Kilbaha. All the people along the way made our trip a joy.

Positive: The apartment was small but spotless. Fair play to James and Lucy. It must have been a bar or some type of shop at one stage but now it is a lovely cosy bedsit type apartment. Very quaint. Wonderful location. Loads to see and do in that area. Shannon estuary right at the doorstep Was surprised that the village doesn't have a shop but the local pub,although reasonably expensive serves some of the best fish and seafood dishes I have tasted anywhere. 2 places worth visiting are loop head and kilkee. Wonderful cliff walks and spectacular views in both locations .also helped that the weather was cold but sunny and dry. Cannot fault Lucy and James and the way they have put loads of love and care into renovating an old building and keeping a wonderful piece of history and enabling others to experience it. Will defo return and have no qualms in recommending it to others that might want to visit that part of clare County.

Positive: Perfect location in Carrigaholt. We stayed one night. Comfortable bed. Clean and warm. James excellent in getting back to me. Really perfect for our stay. It is small and compact. Tea and coffee making facilities. Hairdryer. Toiletries in bathroom. Rainforest shower.

Negative: Nothing.
