Positive: Breakfast was nice - not a full Irish breakfast we typically see but all fresh and nice variety. Room was spacious and clean. Hosts were very nice - helped us with our luggage and gave ideas for dinner nearby.

Negative: Involves a drive to get to any food options which we didn’t realize so “not downtown”. Again maybe more our preference and hard to do if essentially a B and B in residential areas

Positive: Breakfast was lovely. The family run business was great and was a pleasure asking for clarity on what to do in the area. If you stay here before heading to Dingle, skip Blarney and go to Kilarney National Park and Muckross House instead.

Negative: Narrow entrance to get into the parking area with brick entrance makes it a little nerve wrecking if you are not accustomed to the narrow roads.

Summary: Incredible owners, smoked salmon was delicious.

Positive: I never use guest houses or B&B's but after staying here it has changed my mind! I will definitely be using this guest house on a return visit to Cork. The room was gorgeous, lovely decor had all the facilities we needed, tea, coffee, water and biscuits in the room, nice touch. The breakfast was lovely too, home baked goods different types of coffee and tea, salmon eggs ,yoghurts fruit etc. But most importantly and what really made the stay special was Susan and Denis. They are so lovely, warm and welcoming and full of the chats. They made us feel at home and made sure we were looked after. Would definitely recommend this guest house.

Positive: Carole Ville B&B is EXCEPTIONAL in every way. Your hosts are the most delightful people, I have never had such a warm and INFORMATIVE welcome anywhere! They will tell you places to dine, how to get around, and anything else you might need to know! The beds and linens are SO comfortable, the facilities are clean, and the cold breakfast is delicious! I even got a treat of porridge with the most delicious homemade granola. I just cannot say enough good things about this B&B and 100% recommend for your stay in Cork.
