Positive: The location is great and the staff is very kind, so is their extremly cute dog! The boat trip they organised for us was absolutely amazing - thanks to Mul and the Batman Crew :) The facilities are okey for a 2 star Hotel. The room was big and the bed was comfortable, however the bathroom could need some improvements and it could have been cleaner.

Negative: The bedsheets, though probably washed, still had some stains on them and the toilet didn't flush properly.

Positive: Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and well located. Generous breakfast with large fruit platter, coffee or tea, banana pancake and omelet. Will organise a boat tour for you in the 17 Islands national park. We asked at the time of booking a room and they really looked after us very well. We had the pirate boat (best because less loud than some others). We had a power outage during our stay but water pump and electricity came back fairly promptly.

Negative: The building is in areas a bit sad, the cumulated effect of 4 years with no (to a few tourists only) over COVID. It is undergoing repairs and will no doubt find its shine again soon. We liked staying there two nights.

Positive: Sometimes it is the people who make a place truly special. At Bintang Wisata Riung we were warmly welcomed by the owners. They are not just friendly, they are genuinely kind and truly care about making you feel comfortable. One real highlight: the owner has his own boat and offers private tours to the 17 Islands. It was an experience we will not forget. Snorkelling at beautiful spots, crystal clear water, almost no other people, and flying foxes in the trees. Moments that really stay with you. The barbecue on a small island was simply fantastic. Fresh fish, plenty of food, and absolutely delicious. It was personal, relaxed, and far away from mass tourism. The accommodation was good, clean, and perfectly fine for our stay. The breakfast was rich and varied. Everything fit together perfectly and we felt completely at ease. If you are looking for more than just a place to stay in Riung and want real experiences, Bintang Wisata Riung is exactly the right choice. We can recommend this place from the heart.

Positive: Very nice hotel and clean rooms. Staff was very kind and they have a lovely dog. They helped us book the 17 islands tour with a very friendly guide. Nice breakfast. We checked out very early the last day and they arranged fruit boxes for us to take on our trip. Definitely recommend.
