Positive: Nice big rooms with AC, very nice and helpful staff, nice seating area outside.
Negative: For Flores standards bathroom was good, for western standards it can use a renovation and a stronger shower. Cleaness of the room was good but bathroom could have been cleaner. Breakfast was okay but not the best we have had and also a bit limited (1 banana pancake with some fruit and coffee/tea). I gave some feedback about the boat tour to the owner, hopefully he will do something with it. I liked the boat tour but I do not consider it sustainable tourism as the coral is ruined by the boats, tourist do not get information about not stepping on the corals and the was of the lunch is just left there on the island for it to be burned or a lot of it will fly into the water. I think the guesthouses in the town need to do something about this, for the environment but also for their own future in the tourist branch.

Positive: Paul and his family are the best hosts. Staying at Riung Gesthouse is as being invited by friends. He comes at apéro time to propose a Bintang; he can organise anything. We were even invited to the wedding of a member of the owners’ family

Positive: A super accomodating and friendly owner. He was extremely helpful in organising and recommending things to do/ tours. The rooms were amazing super clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds.
