Positive: We were warmly welcomed by Bintang and his family who could not do enough for us. As a local and a guide, he was quickly able to set up tours and workshops that were of interest to us; walking through various rice fields, pottery workshop, bamboo workshop, making coconut oil with his mum, visiting weaving village, massages.....as well as including us for a family meal. If you are seeking a true experience of a homestay, then this is it. The cabin was cosy and had a huge bathroom with hot water, and it was lovely to be able to sit on the verandah and enjoy the serenity.

Negative: Honestly can't think of anything we didn't like.

Positive: Secluded location. Great if you have your own bike. Banana pancakes are delicious.

Negative: No good value: paid 225k/night NO water. Had to go outside to turn a pump on and off anytime you need water. (Even in the night) And even then the shower was sometimes cold and trickling. Host was constantly lurking in front of bungalow and would force conversation every time i step on balcony. No privacy. They smoke cigarettes with friends right next to my hut. Bad smell. I stayed there an extra night as I was just using the bed but regret it. Was the least genuine friendliness in indonesia.

Positive: Amazing hospitality, Asan is a great guide he made me feel very welcome and went out of his way to make me comfortable. It's overwhelming at first, but they're are such loving people. His wife makes incredible food no need to go to restaurant. Bed very comfortable amazing bathroom, beautiful location. 10/10

Positive: I would totally recommend this accommodation. It's one of the cleanest places we've stayed at during our trip. The staff treated us very well, and I'd especially like to highlight the attention we received from Asan very friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. The accommodation also offered us laundry and food services
