Positive: I stayed in a suite in the water and this was the ultimate luxury! Stag. Were always friendly- cleaning staff were very thorough and attentive. Going for breakfast at The Brasserie every morning was a pleasure! And I loved the buggy system for get back and forth to the Room.

Negative: Booking.com should differentiate the types of forest chalets- deep forest or those situated closer to the sea was not specified.

Summary: Was the perfect peaceful and most decadently enjoyable week stay!

Positive: This resort is magnificent. The whole place is beautiful, lush and green. It has several pools and even a private beach access as well that is nice, sandy and has a great view to the sea and the hills of Langkawi. We loved the rainforest chalets with it's balcony, the animals and the staff was amazing. All the restaurants serve great food, malaysian, chinese, thai and continental. I've been in several hotels around different countries, but this resort has the best breakfast we've ever had (even with view). The selection of indian, chinese food with freshly made eggs, roti etc. It contains free transfer within the resort to your own chalet, also to the oriental village close to the resort where the cablecar can be found.

Negative: Small things only, the walls quite thin and our neighbours next door were a bit loud early in the morning. I would have preferred to have chalet a bit away from the entrance of the resort where it is quite.

Positive: Beautiful beach view and varieties of buffet breakfast

Negative: Room needs renovation as the wooden flooring in some part of the room was noisy while walking . Microwave needed in rooms . Also, in vegetarian breakfast spread , none of the Indian veggies or curries were delicious .

Positive: It is my third time here. Staff are very helpful. One staff at the breakfast restaurant gave us a bottle of wine before we left. He remembered that we go to the lounge bar every night during our stay for live music. Very close to go to cable car within walking distance.

Negative: The Chinese restaurant is really outdated and is in need of renovation but also the food is disappointing for such an expensive resort. Also equipment in the gym needs an update.
