Summary: First it’s its 8 minute drive to Pebble Beach . Very easy to get to and super clean. Loved the huge Gold mirror. Big kitchen and large bedroom. And … a walk in closet !

Summary: The apartment itself is a definite 5*****! It is spacious, recently remodeled, beautifully decorated, clean, and bright. The kitchen is well-stocked, the bedroom is lovely, bed is comfy, walk-in closet, great bathroom, deck and grill. All good. So why only 3 ***? Well, a couple of things. The main issue was that, as stated, it is in an industrial area. But we found it misleading to say that it is an easy walk to cafes, restaurants and shops. What surrounded us for many, many blocks was machine shops, small manufacturers, warehouses and the like. It looks like this area is trying to transition, but is nowhere near being "hip" or "cool". And though we are just across the highway from the beach, we could not see it from the apartment nor walk to it easily. We were looking for a place in a cute, walkable neighborhood and did not get that. That said, it is a good home base to drive 15+ minutes to all of the above. The other thing to note is that the entrance is on the second floor and there are 20 fairly steep stairs to climb (with luggage); so if you have difficulty with stairs, this may not be a fit. One last note, the cleaning fee was extremely high and we felt gouged on that.

Summary: Unit was nicely furnished and equipped. Appreciated the "modern" flair and artistic touches. Only thing that surprised us was the full outdoor staircase up to the unit! As 68 year old couple, that was a bit challenging with our suitcases!!

Summary: This was the first time we used Vacasa and we were very impressed. It had all the household items we needed, next time we’ll just pack our bags, no need to bring extra items. We enjoyed our daily walks, we even walked to the beach! We had to call Vacasa for a minor issue and it was immediately taken care of. Thank you Vacasa and Roxanne 👍🏽❤️😊

Summary: While the apartment is ok the neighborhood was to be desired. We never really felt safe leaving one car on the driveway and the other on the street. You are smack dab between and surrounded by warehouses. And across the apartment, you had a lovely view of run-down houses and hoarded-out backyards full of junk and debris and the 101 freeway roaring by. Add on the people who live there loudly partying in the streets (lawn chairs included) and the motorcycle/street racing happening late into the night. Little sleep was had. The apartment itself though felt outdated and had an odd circus paint theming in the kitchen which we knew about ahead of time but it was uglier in person. The walls are thin so you hear everything that the other apartment is doing. Nothing else was exciting to note but there was a lack of kitchen supplies and there was only one full-size towel between the three of us. Which meant a target run. There were no sheets for the pullout sofa bed either. The heating and A/C did not work (the reservation on the app said the place had A/C but reading the description here on VRBO they claim not to.) We luckily found a fan that we used to cool down the house. The beach is driving distance not walking distance and was very hard to gain access to and was not a safe swimming beach. All in all not worth the price they charge.
