Summary: We loved our time in Skiathos, and mostly because of this beautiful villa. We had two families (two small children between us) staying together, and the rambling layout allowed all of us our privacy but still ensured that we could all spend plenty of time together for meals and pool relaxation. We especially loved that there were so many places around the villa to gather and spend time together - indoors, the balcony, the dining area by the pool, etc, and we could watch the children play while still relaxing. The house sits on a hill overlooking the sea, and views are absolutely amazing throughout; it's breathtaking when you wake up on the first morning! We would have breakfast on the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean below, then move down to read and float around the pool for the morning, and walk down a little flight of steps at the bottom of the garden to spend the afternoons at the beach. The house is on a quiet street - there is a small grocery store nearby where we got fresh produce (including plenty of Greek specialties) and used the big kitchens (two of them! We split between meat-eaters and vegetarians ;)) to make our own meals most of the time. During a couple of evenings we took the boat from the nearby beach to Skiathos town for dinner. The town is lovely and very quaint, with some fun nightlife and good restaurants, and souvenir shopping (we bought our weight in olives and honey!) - so staying at the villa provides proximity to the action while maintaining privacy. All in all, this villa is the perfect getaway for families or big groups.

Summary: Spent an amazing few weeks at this lovely house with friends. The house exceeded my expectations, being literally a 30 seconds walk to the beach. My girlfriends and I enjoyed lounging by the pool but it was great to have the beach option nearby. Not wanting to drive in the evenings, it was super convenient to have a taxi boat take us straight into town every evening for dinner and drinks from the beach below. The beach also has a great taverna and beach bar, and one beach over is another trendy beach bar for afternoon cocktails and music. The house was very comfortable, and large enough to give each of us our own space. I personally really enjoyed the outdoor shower which has a privacy screen and hot water. I stayed in the bedroom by the garden, and loved having my own little nook to take my morning coffee and do my yoga on the lawn out front. Thanks Susi, hope to see you again next year!

Summary: I arrived early June with my wife and 5 year old son for a two week holiday with friends. Skiathos is a beautiful island with lots to offer and staying at Villa Aeolos made for an unforgettable stay. The house was very clean, had all necessary amenities and has breathtaking views. I most enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings over wine and good conversation with my friends. It was ideal having a pool right outside our bedroom which my son thoroughly enjoyed. The housekeeper and his wife are a lovely Greek couple who made sure we felt at home and Susi was reachable at any time to answer all our questions. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back!
