The cottage is situated approximately 5km from Saint Martin des Pres, a small village in Cotes d'Armor. It's central location in Brittany makes this cottage an ideal touring base. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, the cottage comfortably sleeps seven people. The cottage has electric heating and the cost of electricity is included in the rental. There is a wood burner in the lounge. An initial supply of wood is provided but there is a small charge for additional wood. Towels and Bed linen are included.
The cottage has Satellite TV ( English and French channels)and free Wi-Fi internet access.
There is a fenced garden in front of the cottage with a garden table and chairs. The garden gets the sun first thing in the morning and is a lovely area to eat your breakfast.
There is also a large garden with a decked area, table, chairs and sun loungers and a private, heated swimming pool (open from May until the end of September). There are also swings, a slide and a boules court. This part of the garden gets the sun all day until it goes down. With views of the surrounding countryside it's an ideal place to eat alfresco, have fun in the pool and relax in the sun.

Brittany really does have it all. If you want to do more than simply relax in the garden, there are many activities to choose from. Whether you’re looking for beautiful walks, watersports, fishing, golf or sandy beaches, you’ll find all of these close to our cottage. Nearby you can visit the beautiful Lake of Guerlédan, which is surrounded by the forest of Quénécan. The lake is approximately a 15 minutes drive away and along with its manmade beaches it offers a wide range of activities including water sports, boat hire, fishing, horse riding and a climbing centre.
If you enjoy a round of golf, then look no further! Brittany has many superb golf courses. The owner of the cottage is a keen golfer and will be able to offer you advice on courses that would suit you best. For more general information on golf courses in Brittany, visit the Golf Bretagne website.
The coast is a 40 minutes drive away.You can enjoy beautiful sandy beaches at Binic and Saint Brieuc.
Although change over days are marked as Saturday, the owners will be as flexible as possible.

Smoking is not allowed in the house but you are able to smoke in the garden.
A security deposit of €100 is requested on arrival to cover damage and the need for extra cleaning. This can be paid in cash or by cheque and will be returned to you when you leave if there has been no damage and the house is relatively clean. We understand that accidents happen and sometimes dishes and glasses may get broken. This would not result in us keeping your security deposit.
We appreciate that you are on holiday and we do not expect the house to be perfect when you leave. The security deposit would only be used if extra cleaning over and above our usual number of hours was needed.

Summary: We had a wonderful family holiday here, the cottage is lovely, in a brilliant peaceful setting with some gorgeous scenery and gardens. You do need a car to get about, but we knew this before we arrived, and there are many villages worth visiting, so we were happy with this. The kids loved the pool and went to see the chickens/ducks every morning as well. Adele and Pep were so helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. A pleasure to chat to and very welcoming. We’d recommend to anyone, and hope to return one day. Thank you for a wonderful time! x

Summary: We stayed at this gorgeous French house which really was the most beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Adele and Andy were so welcoming and helpful and they really couldn’t have been any lovelier. We absolutely loved the property and grounds and having the amazing outside area for eating outside and the swimming pool to cool off really was such a great thing for us and our children. We also loved the ducks and chickens that were very well behaved. I would definitely love to come back and can’t rate our whole experience highly enough.

Summary: This property was presented in a clean, well equipped and comfortable condition. Adele and Andy, the owners, live next door and were extremely friendly, helpful and made us feel like old friends. If you’re looking for a lively nightlife and exciting surroundings this would not suit you. This is probably the most peaceful, rural and relaxing location. No loud music, traffic noise or any other disturbance. Quite perfect.

Summary: What a beautiful place this is. The cottage itself is very clean and nicely decorated. The rooms are spacious and beds super comfy. The garden with decking and pool area is stunning for entertaining the kids and adults - especially with Ronnie the duck chasing pigeons! Adele and Andy were wonderful hosts who are always on hand for any queries you have and know the local area well. The cottage is very peaceful and a short drive from the local amenities and attractions. Would highly recommend this stunning place.

Summary: Had a great few days there. 7 of us stayed, house was lovely and the outside area was even better. Nice clean pool, decking and bbq area and a large beautiful garden for the kids to play in. Fed the chickens and ducks, saw Deer in the field next to us. Got on very well with Adele and Pep. Overall a great few days. Thanks guys.

Summary: We had a great stay at the guesthouse of Adele and Andy. They are very good hosts and the house and the environment are very nice! Unfortunately we didn't have very good weather, so we only jumped in the pool once, but its a great pool! In the house there is a lot of equipment in the kitchen, which is very nice. The only thing we found a bit unfortunately is the fact the matrasses were with springs.

Summary: Welcoming home and owners, clean and good facilities. We found almost everything we needed for cooking, cleaning products etc. Comfortable beds. Big garden close to the house with barbeque, pool and children facilities perfect for the day, and also a smaller courtyard in front of the house. Perfect location to enjoy some quiet time in the countryside.Reasonable distance to the beach, other attractions and shops.

Summary: Communication before our holiday was great. On arriving at the property we were greeted by The owners who couldn’t have been more welcoming. They were very informative on things going on around the village and pretty places to visit. The Gite itself is a great size for our 2 families and it well equip, it is in an amazing setting, The garden area is beautiful, you could spent hours sitting there watching the birds. We had a few days out Binic is a lovely harbour town with a nice beach only and 35 minutes away. Lac de Guerlédan a lovely man made beach, only 15 mins away, lovely scenery, they had a boat trip around the lake which unfortunately we missed. St Malo was definitely worth the hour and a half drive, lots of shops, restaurants, beach and historical views. We spent a couple of days around the Gite as we all needed a couple of relaxing days. The pool is lovely, the kids had good use of this. This is one of our top 3 favourite holidays and are hoping to revisit one day. Highly recommended
