Positive: A very quiet rural location. Our room and bathroom was clean and well presented, with tea and coffee etc. We took advantage of having an evening meal delivered to the house, which was very welcome (tomato salad starter, beef and potatoes main course and pastel de nata dessert). There was a slight problem with the booking when we arrived as our arrival was unexpected despite the booking...but our hosts quickly corrected the situation and were very apologetic. We shared a lovely bottle of homemade cider over suggestions for local things to see and do. Breakfast was delicious.

Negative: The check in is 18.00 which is quite late after a long day of cycling!

Positive: Traditional country house on working farm. Charming bedrooms and superb shower rooms upstairs. Downstairs was a large comfortable lounge with a long dining table. We were offered a lovely breakfast with homemade jams and compote.

Negative: Nothing it was idyllic.

Summary: Very welcoming owners. Superb optional meal from local caterer. Very comfortable and relaxing stay.
