Positive: We really enjoyed our stay at Linda’s cottage. It was a real home away from home and has everything you could need for a break in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The cottage is attached to the owners property and can be accessed by a lock box, but once inside, the property feels very private. It has a mixture of cottage like features and modern touches to make your stay very comfortable. The cottage was spotless and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into the fixtures and fittings with everything seeming to be “high end”. The layout works well with the lovely modern bathroom being accessible from both the living room and bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with every kitchen utensil you could need to make your own meals and the outside space was an added bonus. It was a pleasure to meet Linda on our departure day and would definitely stay again.
Negative: The bed was slightly firm for me but that’s just personal preference. It may be useful to have blackout curtains in the bedroom as it gets light very early.
Summary: Beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of the country.

Positive: The location was ideal, located on a lovely quiet no through road yet 5 minutes walk to the street head arms where you can fine some good local ales and great food. The property was spotless and had more than enough facilities, and, the photos don’t do it justice as it is bigger than it looks. Off road parking was a bonus and Linda left us Easter eggs!
Negative: We really can’t find any negatives about this property, we will stay again.
Summary: A perfect long weekend staying in a beautiful little cottage

Positive: We were sent a keysafe code to gain access to the property so we didnt have to worry about our arrival time. There was enough space on the drive to park directly outside. We were surprised at the size of the cottage - it looked tiny from outside but is like a tardis with a spacious bedroom and living room, with a bathroom connecting them. The separate kitchen is well equipped with the bonus of a Quooker tap so we didn't have to boil kettles for drinks. The kitchen also had a fridge, induction hob, oven, toaster and microwave (plus an iron and ironing board in the cupboard), as well as a table and chairs. There is plenty of cutlery, crockery and cookware. The cottage also has a washing machine. The heating was already on when we arrived so it felt warm, welcoming and very cosy. The whole cottage is spotless and well decorated, with high spec. fixtures and fittings and attention to detail. The bed is very comfortable and there was plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe. There is a dressing table with mirror, handy for putting on make up, and a hairdryer. We were impressed to find a cottage with not one but 2 TVs - one in the bedroom and a large one in the lounge. There is a Fire cube in the lounge giving access to a wider range of channels. The lounge has a very comfortable 2 seater leather sofa. A multi fuel stove was laid, ready to light with enough wood and ovoids provided for the first night, and recommendations of where to buy more. However we didn't need to light it as the cottage was already warm enough, and we were out in the evenings enjoying the excellent food and drinks in the Street Head Inn, just a couple of minutes walk from the property, which we highly recommend. There is a cupboard in the lounge containing a DVD player with a wide selection of DVDs, as well as several board games.
Negative: The water pressure in the bathroom is quite low. So definitely not a power shower but not so low you have to dance round to get clean either. It's good enough to do the job and certainly doesn't detract from the overall quality of the stay.
Summary: The perfect place to relax
