Positive: Location, perfect place for kids to play outside in the garden. Very pictures. There was everything you need to stay longer. Lovely stone cottage.

Negative: No spare batteries for remote control. Because it's a stone cottage I was cold inside. We were too tired to start the fire in fire place.

It felt like a perfect escape from the busy world. The cottage itself was spotless, warm, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made cooking a real pleasure. We especially loved relaxing in the evenings after exploring the surrounding woodland trails. It was everything we hoped for – calm, cozy, and utterly refreshing. We’d love to come back!

Positive: The setting of the propoerty is stunning, so peaceful and loads of great walks. Although feels remote actually really close to Mousehole and Newlyn.

Negative: Nothing really only maybe a light over the cooker.

Positive: Lovely secluded barn in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Everything we needed was in the cottage for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfy and loved the open plan layout of everything. Having the woodburner was great because the evenings did get cold but this made the world of difference to have a good bit of heat which warmed the place up fairly quickly. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a bonus and the milk and biscuits left by the host was a very welcome treat. The hosts very friendly/helpful and easy to communicate with.

Positive: We loved the log burner and cosy feel to the barn. Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice touch to leave us milk, biscuits and tea and coffee. Comfy beds. Lots of hot water. Wi-fi was good. Location suited us, but might be a bit remote for some. Great communication from hosts.

Negative: Be aware that the main bedroom is a mezzanine, so you can’t move around downstairs too early! Coats hooks and a draught excluder would be great extra touches.

Summary: Perfect week in Cornwall at this lovely little find!
