Positive: The road to the property begins as questionable. Once you get past the rundown areas it opens into country. It is a cocept my wife has seen before and hopefully they can build on it a be quite successful.

Negative: The space heater, at this time of year, was a must. We actually forgot about it the first night, the second night was better as the overhed heat did not work well. The double beds would not have been our first choice.

Summary: Overall a good accomodation with great possibilities, much luck and success as it evolves.

Positive: we did not receive any kind of breakfast , nor did we expect it. The location was very covenant to downtown & the surrounding areas. The chickens & turkeys were a bonus that we got a kick out of.

Negative: The bathroom was a little bit cramped for an average size person but that is to be expected if you know anything about staying in a trailer. The TV was very hard to navigate, for me anyway. Hard to watch live news or sports. Hulu, Sling, Disney & Netflix were what was offered, but I am of a certain age & couldn't use it properly I guess. Younger people who are better versed should have less problems.

Positive: Our host met us on site. He explained the workings of the Airstream, how to use them and gave us a little history about the place, itself. We loved the clean, original interior and period decor. We had everything we needed. A/C worked great, Wi-Fi was steady, and the location was quiet - surprisingly better priced than hotels in the area. Beautiful chickens, grey geese, a white turkey and a shy peacock free-ranged the grounds but weren't intrusive. It was interesting to watch them... the rooster was quite a handsome fellow! It's just a short drive up the road to Beaufort so we were close to everything.

Negative: We have absolutely nothing critical to assess! Beds were comfy, fridge was cold, A/C and internet worked great... we liked it all. A word of note: The grounds toward the back are a work in progress. The property was originally a small mobile home park and the owners are clearing out the old and damaged units and replacing them with newer models while renovating two existing guest buildings. We didn't hear the work being done, so I suspect that it's performed between guest stays, which was appreciated!

Summary: Quiet, comfortable, vintage Airstream get-away with all the comforts of home and a few surprises!

Positive: We just needed a place to stay overnight as we travelled from FL to NC. We did not want a traditional, white-box hotel room. This place was perfect! Charming with a touch of "adventure" - my husband was thrilled at staying in an Airstream, even though it wasn't moving down the road. The host was super nice and made sure our stay was pleasant and worry-free. Will do this again on our next pass through SC!
