Seabright Cabin is a fully updated 1913 historic cottage in the Seabright neighborhood of Santa Cruz. We rent to mature adults over 25 years old. Home may be unsafe for toddlers and small children due to the loft. No pets.
Completely renovated from top to bottom. Walk to the beach, harbor, restaurants, coffee shops, and Boardwalk. One bedroom with queen bed. Open, light-filled floor plan creates an inviting space that feels much larger. Features include high-speed wireless internet, warm-water outdoor shower, gas BBQ, and stacking washer-dryer. Snugly insulated for comfort and quiet. Ceiling fans and double-hung wood windows circulate summer breezes, and a gas stove keeps things toasty warm on winter days. Driveway with uncovered parking for one car. All linens, beach gear, cooking and serving supplies, board games, DVD library included. Flat-screen TV with blu-ray, and Roku for streaming Netflix, HBO Max, and other content. No cable at this time. Youtube TV has live sports and news.
Front porch with antique chairs gets morning sun, perfect for enjoying your coffee or catching up on email. Back patio has a dining table with umbrella seating 4. Fruit trees provide shade and fresh fruit for summer guests.
Seabright Beach is a 6 minute walk and the Santa Cruz yacht Harbor is a 5-10 minute walk. The Boardwalk Amusement park is an easy walk (15 min and save the high parking fee), but geographically separated from our neighborhood by the San Lorenzo River so you don't get the crowds and traffic. Warehouse complex across the street has the popular Verve coffee roastery for your morning latte, and a rock climbing gym with yoga and other classes available for visitors. Great restaurants and coffee shops are on adjacent blocks. The home is centrally located so you're usually less than 10 minutes from almost anything you want to do in Santa Cruz.

Summary: Nicely renovated small house was fine for my husband and I for a few nights. We made most of our meals. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the little gas stove warmed the entire house and was so cheery. We walked to the beach and admired the houses in the area.

Summary: I booked this cute cabin last minute as a little weekend getaway for myself. It was a nice place to retreat for a few days and close enough to walk to various points of interest. Highly recommend for solos, pairs, and small families.

Summary: The location is great, it is close to the beach and harbor and other places that are fun. It is not a tourist location and I like that. Next to Verve Coffee roasting which makes a nice morning. Close to many local restaurants. Had everything we needed. Would return if we stay in Santa Cruz again.

Summary: This beautiful little home is located just a short walk from yummy restaurants and the beach! We were also directly across the street from a great coffee shop. We loved the cozy space and we enjoyed walking down to the ocean and the lighthouse. We would definitely stay here again. Awesome hosts!!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this 1 bedroom house in Seabright Santa Cruz. We loved the coffee shop (Verve) across the street and went each morning. This location was so close to everything we did. We also were close to the beach and enjoyed walks there. Katrina was great and we had a very smooth check in process.

Summary: We stayed for a long weekend in October. Booking and check in were easy and very responsive. The cottage is just right for 2 people, the kitchen was very easy to cook in and well stocked. Ample storage for clothes in the bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. I was surprised how quiet the neighborhood was overnight. The bathroom sink area is tight if you’re a person who uses a lot of gadgets. The shower was good sized and water pressure was good. The surrounding neighborhood was fun to walk around and see all the different types of houses. The walk to Seabright beach was quick and easy. We received a discount on coffee and pastries from Verve Coffee across the street. We’d stay here again.
