Summary: Older, squeaky stairs. In-room heater was going full blast and made it uncomfortably hot. Big gaps at the bottom of room doors. Otherwise good.

Summary: The hotel is in a nice area. It has the tram right outside so it makes it easy to get into the city. It took about 20 minutes to get to the city. There is a supermarket and shops and restaurants quite close by. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The main issue is the stairs. There is no elevator but the staff did help us with our bags.

Summary: A quaint inn located in a brownstone built in 1895. Our room was located on the second floor. The room was very comfortable other than one bed was positioned in such a way that the walkway was narrow. Great pressure in the shower. Subway is located right in front of the inn. Several restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Boston again.

Summary: You couldn’t pay me to stay there if you gave me a $1000.00 a night. The toilet seat was broke. The keys were great however, didn’t have do not duplicate on them so you could actually duplicate them. It is not handicapped accessible and the amenities are extremely poor for the price you pay. The key lockbox for returning keys was not even locked so someone after you turned in your keys could damage your room or worst case start a fire. A nice lady who wasn’t checked in yet dropped off her luggage and departed and her luggage could have contained a bomb. Why take a chance of staying here when other places are so close with better amenities and security!

Summary: The Beacon Inn is a classic Brookline brownstone. My room was dated but entirely functional with a well appointed but old style private bathroom. There’s no elevator and the stairs seem to be the original ones. That’s what I expected when making the reservation and I was not disappointed. The staff was helpful, and the location perfect for what i wanted. But if you’re expecting a modern hotel experience with updated amenities, it’s not the place!

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, and everything was exactly as described. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. I would happily come back again!

Summary: We liked the room. Great old house, rooms are quaint! I was hoping it was haunted but nothing showed up on my ghost detector app hahaha. We will definitely stay again if the need arises. Only negative is the $36 parking charge.

Summary: Cute homey little spot. Grocery store across the street, 1.5 miles to Boston college, couple Blocks from everything else you need. Train stops right outside the front door.
