Positive: The cottage was in a great location and had loads of thoughtful touches throughout. We really appreciated the treats on arrival and how comfortable the bed was. The shower and bath were fantastic, piping hot and great water pressure. Parking was very convenient and the layout of the cottage worked well for the two of us.

Negative: The only tiny disadvantage was the age of the TV, which doesn't have streaming or a hdmi port for a Chromecast / Amazon fire stick / Roku etc.

Positive: Absolutely fabulous cottage. The attention to detail was amazing, with beautiful textiles and pictures, local produce and warm and inviting atmosphere. The location is brilliant, the views from the cottage are amazing, with sheep right over the road! You can get to the river or join the Dales Way within a couple of mins walk. I loved it and didn't want to leave.

Negative: Nothing- it's brill

Positive: Great location, perfect for walks along the River Wharfe and quiet. Cosy house, very clean and friendly host was contactable.

Negative: Slightly dark in living room. Well equipped kitchen and lack of dishwasher wasn’t an issue. But otherwise great.

Positive: Beacon cottage has tried to furnish this property in totally British made products throughout and made an excellent job of it. All environmental friendly cleaning products as well, keep up the good work.

Negative: Cottage has its own allocated parking space, and there are plenty of designated walking paths in the area. 5min walk to a bistro/bar, 15min walk to the local pubs and grocery store.
