Positive: We stayed at the villa for 2 nights as a party of five and had a wonderful experience. From the time of booking through to the day we checked in, communication was prompt and the information provided was clear and helpful. We arrived at the villa on Mon 22 Dec 25, and were warmly greeted by Tai upon check-in. The villa was easy to find, spacious, and immaculately clean. The setting was so peaceful—just what we needed—and the view was absolutely amazing. Tai and Clare were awesome hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this villa to others.

Positive: This is in a great location set back from the road giving you privacy but still with an awesome view. It is a very spacious, airy home with a large living area and comfortable beds. The stand out is the front verandah allowing you to relax in the open air without being exposed to the elements.

Negative: While we remained reasonably comfortable with the heat, keeping the doors open for a lot of our stay, the living area didn’t have air conditioning and it could have benefited from the addition of some ceiling fans.

Positive: Awesome location, great views, huge deck, exceptionally clean and has excellent dinner options within 5 min walk including the crab shack and the bar and grill with the best fish meals we have had in some time. For those coffee lovers, cafe planet even within walking distance. True mart ‘supermarket’ only 20 mins drive down the road for food supplies and plenty of roadside places. If you aren’t keen on resorts and enjoy being independent and having options then this is the best place to stay. We had hired a rental car so this was perfect for us. Beach access is simple with an easy walk across the quiet road for a swim, snorkel. There were even snorkels provided by the owners. Room layout is 1 double bed downstairs and 1 very large bedroom upstairs with air conditioning if that’s your thing. Extra single bed in area off the lounge if required. I have absolutely no regrets staying at the villa and would highly recommend. Clare and Tai lovely, easy to communicate with and no problem that they live on the property.

Positive: LIKE: hosts were amazing always catering and answering questions and ensuring we were comfortable. Great space for our group of 4 (3 Adults & 1 Baby). Kitchen was massive and well equipped with a good dining table, washing maching to do laundry, tv which you won't really need and great lounge space inside and out on the massive verandah. View is amazing to wake up to everyday. Villa is also very clean. Our family stayed at Bedarra Inn which was only a 2min walk next door and Outrigger a 2 minute drive as we were there for a wedding. Perfect choice to stay if you're attending an event in the area. Host also made brekky which we paid extra for and was great. Would happily stay here again. Thank you. DISLIKE: We booked initially thinking it was 3 bedrooms with 3 beds as listed but later found out it was only 2 bedrooms with 3 beds but not the hosts fault. This didn't affect our stay as the host moved the single bed in the lounge/office space into the main bedroom. The main bedroom is the only room that has the full bathroom and aircon in the villa. There is a second toilet in the laundry room and luckily weather is similar to Qld, Australia so opening the bi-fold doors allowed the ocean breeze to come in. Phone reception is bad and internet is non existent but the villa has great wifi so that did the trick. Lastly, I didn't know the hosts stay in the same villa building but downtairs on the left in a self contained unit. Not really a deterrent as they never disturbed us but a heads up on the listing would have been nice. Great hosts so not a negative.

Positive: The hosts were amazing, friendly, helpful and a the house was a great space. The large lawn meant our kids could play outside. Basket of goodies was left for the kids and us. Walk out the gate to the beach and a short walk down the road to some excellent restaurants.

Negative: Not use to the heat, more fans would be great.
