Summary: We originally chose this hotel due to very high ratings online but were not entirely satisfied or impressed by this hotel at all. I had seen a couple of complaint reviews online due to issues with the rooms being overly hot (due to AC system being shut down for the winter months) but dismissed them as we were traveling in November, which is colder in Konya. The first room given to us was extremely hot and felt as if we were staying in a sauna. We couldn't relax or sleep at all. After a couple of conversations with the front desk, we were moved to another room of the same type on the opposite side of the building, which felt much better. This hotel shuts down the individual controls to the AC during the off season which does not allow one to adjust the temperature to personal liking. For a 5 star hotel, it is lacking in personal attention to details. When we first arrived, no one came out to help us with our bags until we unloaded everything on our own and were walking into the reception area. The receptionist was kind but neglected to give small details such as time of breakfast and wifi information - standard details that should be given when checking in. We had to ask for the information ourselves. Overall, it's an OK hotel but felt more like a 3-star hotel than 5 Star experience.
