Positive: one of my favorite stays. the view is amazing! the value is great. the food is good too. you have to pay extra for wifi, but this is the perfect place to disconnect for a few days

Positive: The location is sublime amongst the rice fields, the general area is beautiful with a view to die for and we met our guide Rambo there who took us under his wing for 2 days, it was magical

Negative: The rooms are hot without aircon, windows don’t open and even tough breakfast is included mind that only the pancake is not other options, which the host didn’t tell us

Positive: The location is amazing and their on site restaurant is great. Staff is friendly. The views from the terrace are great! For the guests who said it's difficult to get to the place, I wouldn't say so. Park at the saddle and it's an easy 10-15 minutes walk into the village, locals know the place and will gladly point you in the right direction. It helps to have a flashlight if you arrive by night but even without it I think it's doable.

Negative: Bathrooms are indeed due for an upgrade. Rooms are very basic and the dogs do bark at night in the village, so if you're a light sleeper, it's not great.

Negative: Toilet and shower not clean. Also security concerns: at the entry of the village (before tourist registration desk) had someone cheating, and trying hard to scam tourists - a slight wrong decision can be costly.

Positive: The staff (Jun and Karla) were attentive to our needs. They were nice and always happy to help. The location is great if you really want a nice overview of Batad Rice Terraces but be ready for a 20-min walk from the car park to the pension house. It was a bit of a struggle for us because we were not used to hiking and trekking.

Positive: Definitely, I liked the view. The hosts were well-accommodating as per request. Thank you to the host and family for inviting me to celebrate with them during the New Year.❤️ Just an advise for coming here, or Batad in general: one should consider preparing for exploring around in this place, because it would be tiring and painful for someone who does not do intensive workout or trek in a regular basis. You will miss out on seeing some scenic views if you have to cancel trips because you feel your knees might give out. Be ready for seemingly endless stairs (going down and coming back up), slim and slippery walkways through rice paddies, and some parts that are rugged.😁

Negative: No mobile network signal, but they do have vouchering system for limited wifi access (like Piso WiFi)_ being sold at stores or homestays.

Summary: Unwound✅️ . You're going to be compelled being outside looking at the view.

Positive: The location was more than beautiful. It's pretty remote but for the price it was worth it. You can also eat here which is extremely convenient and the food was delicious.

Negative: There wasn't anything that really stood out. Everything was either up to standard or right at standards
