Positive: The owner Clair was very friendly and gave us good information on what there is to do and see in Banaue and what restaurants were good. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean.

Positive: We loved everything about the property. The owner and host (Claire and Jose) of the guesthouse was very welcoming. She told us the story of home they came about building the guesthouse. The guesthouse was situated up on a hill overlooking the town and some rice terraces. We encountered a little rain but it was okay. I preferred it cooler. We stayed in a traditional Ifugao house with a bathroom and shower, a full size buck bed below and a twin on top. Mattress and sheets were perfect for the cooler weather. Shower came with a heater connected to warm up the cold water. Water Temperature was perfect. Claire was very attentive when what we needed. She preferred breakfast every morning while we were there. She cooked a perfect eggs and hotcakes for us. Had coffee or tea that was always ready. She arrange our tour guide (Clarita) to Batad and she explain the story of the places we visited. I will request Clarita again the next time I visit. We were arrange a tricycle ride with Lance who was a nice guy. He took us to all the viewpoints that Claire explained we should visit. She recommended places to eat for lunch and dinner because the guesthouse for now is only serving breakfast and is working on a full kitchen. All in all, I highly recommend and I would stay at Baleh Boble Guesthouse again.

Negative: I had nothing I didn’t like. I wish we stayed longer because there are so many more places to explore.

Positive: This is a very special place run very efficiently by the very friendly and welcoming owner, Claire. The hotel is a little out of town but they offer free transfers down to the town and it's restaurants (as they haven't yet finished building their kitchen). The hotel is situated in delightful gardens with fabulous views over the valley and some rice terraces (we had a stunning sunrise one morning). It offers "normal" hotel rooms and has 3 traditional Ifuago houses. These are small, built off the ground, accessed up a very short ladder. Our Ifuago house had a double bed, a single and bunk. It was beautifully presented with wooden furnishings and immaculately clean, with excellent bedding. Our private loo and hot shower were in a separate building just 5 metres away. Again, very well presented and clean. Breakfast was served in the restaurant: bread, jams, fresh fruit, choice of eggs, tea and coffee. Very nice - again with views over the valley. Claire can recommend restaurants and arrange transport and tour guides. She was very efficient. She arranged a Jeepney drive over to the Hapau rice terraces and Bogyah hot springs, and tricycles down to town. This was a wonderful place to stay - we loved it. Thank you, Claire.

Positive: Beautiful view. Great location. Owner Claire was very nice, helpful, and gave good advice with everything like the excursions, a barbecue, and transport.
