Summary: On entering the ground floor corridor, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Our rooms were clean but the opposite of spacious, especially in the cramped toilet. It was like showering in a telephone kiosk. The dinner service on the Saturday evening we were there was appalling, a very limited menu and very, very slow service. Hotel residents were allowed to smoke on the steps outside the hotel entrance which was littered with cigarette butts, along with an overflowing litter bin. A dreadfully unsatisfactory experience.
