Positive: Amazing and friendly staff. Great rooms and breakfast. Accepts cards for payment.

Negative: No Wifi. No bottled water or soap (in bathroom) provided. No hot water in shower. Bathroom not clean. Lots of noise from the alleyway next to my room. Dirty pool.

Positive: With the situation, I think the Staff tried very hard to make my stay comfortable. They were very very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. They did not have a drink in the bar that I wanted, they went out of their way to get them. I sincerely hope things will pick up again for them.

Negative: Soap in the Chalet. And to look at Restaurant Scenario again.

Summary: I would stay there again. With Excellent Staff around.

Positive: Nice location just next to the beach. The staff is really nice, and helped to book trips ect. The breakfast is nice (eggs or fruit salad). The rooms are nice with detailed and creative solutions using natural materials.

Negative: No wifi, only hotspot from staff if needed. The hotel is located just next to a public beach entrance way, and many fishermen go out early in the morning. Perhaps best for the early riser.

Positive: The complimentary breakfast was a great start to the day with the ocean breeze and the staff was amazing. A man by the name of Wilson can show you amazing places that you might not know exists and knows everything about Vilankulos. My wife and i spent a lot of time with him as he showed us amazing views and treated us like gold. Very caring and knows how to to make us laugh and smile making our stay more than we expected.

Positive: Looking for a cheap, nice place to stay where the staff makes you feel like you are at home, ready to assist with whatever you need, nice food at reasonable prices, comfortable beds, situated on the beach with only a short walk to the market? Look no further, Baraca is the place with the good vibes you are looking for when vacationing. Winston and Cendalia are very good at taking care of all guests - thank you, both of you - and knowing that there is a nightwatch makes you feel safe, which is especially important when travelling alone.

Negative: An update to the mattresses in the sofas in the common area would be a good idea.

Every day, fishermen brought in their fresh catches to sell, creating a lively and culturally enriching scene, although it could get a bit noisy on some days. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly, especially those working at the bar, who always made me feel welcome. One of the highlights of my stay was being upgraded to a better room with a stunning view, which was a lovely gesture, especially since I was staying for a full week.
