Positive: The cottage has a great location to explore the dales right on your doorstep. . The beds were soooo comfortable, with excellent pillows. It was a home from home with everything we needed in the kitchen. We really enjoyed cooking on the EverHot stove!

Positive: Very comfy beds, excellent bathroom, fully stocked with everything you need as a real home, not a holiday let. The extra touches like the wine and marmalade were appreciated too.

Negative: A local pub would have made it perfect but we just stocked up with goodies in Asbourne and settled in for the evening instead.

Summary: A lovely stay and an excellent base for walking, exploring or just curling up and reading.

Positive: Lovely old cottage in a beautiful village right on the popular hiking trail. Everything inside is of the highest standard: beds, showers, even the kettle, there are lots of tools and utensils available. Feels like a lot of thought went into making sure every possible need is covered

Negative: It was surprisingly cold, probably due to the village sitting in between the hills, but fortunately there are plenty of radiators available, plus an Everhot oven which kept the kitchen nice and warm
