Positive: We had a very pleasant stay at Stanshope Hall. We were welcomed into this interesting house and could not fault our visit at all. The individuality of the rooms and the character of the house together with the tranquillity and the excellent breakfasts combined to make it a perfect place to stay.

Positive: Beautiful building, large burning open fire, homemade cake and tea / coffee on arrival, lovely large double room with a good tea tray and fresh milk, cookies, warm, superb bed, so comfortable, bath and shower and lovely local bath / shower gel to use, breakfast choices are great, breakfast room was lovely and food was fabulous. Will be booking again, the best accommodation we have found for us. If you want modern with all matching facilities thus isn't for you, if you want wow, love this, quirky, welcoming and the feeling of a well loved and cared for home, this is it.
