Positive: The studio apartment is very nicely furnished, clean, and located close to the Kunming train station. Even though there is no front desk, the online check-in went smoothly, following the Chinese system of communication (Wechat) and payment (from the cell phone). Excellent shower. The owner inquired daily online if we were in need of anything. Housekeeping staff is at the location and responded promptly to requests. A food court and a supermarket are conveniently located in the adjacent shopping mall.

Negative: Poor sound insulation of the building and undisciplined tenants. In both rooms that we rented, the people upstairs were very noisy in the middle of the night, repeatedly disturbing our sleep.

Positive: Very nice modern apartment. I enjoyed my stay here and there’s plenty of quality restaurants nearby. Silver, the host, was very welcoming and accommodating with prompt responses to my questions. Wifi is pretty good and stable. I would stay here again next time. There’s a fresh air induction system and a small portable air conditioner available although in this climate it’s not really necessary

Negative: Disposable bath towels are provided which I didn’t like, upon request a standard bath towel was provided promptly.
