4 Bedroom House in Vernon

This is our family vacation home, our kids have spent many a summer here. It is a great place to bring your family and friends, there is plenty of room for everybody. On the upper level there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms (toilet paper supplied). And a very large family room/great room. The balcony is off the family room it is a wrap around balony that goes right to the side entrance and car port.
The bottom floor has a bedroom at the bottom of the stairs with a queen size bed, then there is another room with two single beds with a bathroom and shower. The door down stairs opens up onto the bottom patio which is at ground level with a huge grassy area which is great for a game of volleyball. With Wheel Chair accessible dock.
There are many fruit trees and rasberry bushes to pick from. There are two large swing gate to keep the kids and dogs in or unexpected guests out!!
This is a quite family neighborhood and we would like to keep it as such.!!

Summary: Teresa was a wonderful host who was there for you any time I texted! It is definitely a much older home but the kids (all adults lol) and ourselves really enjoyed the privacy and being able to jump in the lake anytime we wish! We played a lot of corn hole and used so many of the water toys that were available PLUS she actually had a compressor to pump everything up. The atmosphere is the family and enjoying time together in a place that had more than everything including an extra fridge and freezer and endless beach towels. The slanted floor added more memories to our family vaca!! Thanks so much for your hospitality and sharing everything!

Summary: Overall the location and the dock is amazing. Ample bedrooms for our extended family lots of parking well stocked with essentials. That being said there was quite a lot of food left in the cupboards that were well past expiration date. Housekeeping was a pretty big issue. We spent the first couple of hours cleaning fridge shelves was sticking with spilled juice. Kitchen floor was sticky. Carpets needed to be vacuum and probably shampooed as we found crumbs and such things on them. The bedding was clean and there were ample clean towels for us. Overall we would probably stay here again but the property could stand to have a deep clean.

Summary: Spacious house, pet friendly and the best stocked VRBO I have ever been to. My 14 week old puppy was able to run free on the property and learned to swim. Water sports await you outside the back door. The owner rapidly responded to all questions. We definitely want to do this vacation again!

Summary: Had a great time at this property. The location and grounds can’t be beat! Teresa was a great host, always quick to respond to my questions. A few minor issues: Lots of space outside but the upper deck outdoor table and chairs provided would really only allow for 6 ppl to eat at any given time (perfect for us as there were only 6 ppl there but if you have more, it could be an issue). There were 3 other small tables on the lower deck but one was broken. Checkout was a bit confusing as multiple different checkout times were provided but I think that might have been a glitch with VRBO. All in all it was a great vacation at a wonderful property.

Summary: Host Teresa was excellent, so helpful and believe me when I tell you this house has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay! The house is older (as the photos show) but very welcoming and has lots of room for a large family. Beautiful dock to tie up your boat and/or watch the sunset. A great yard (fully fenced) for the little two and four legged ones to run. We had a great week, a little rain but the deck is covered as is the breezeway so it was never a problem. Thank you Teresa for hosting this great place!

Summary: We made lots of memories with our family while we were there and considering we were inside for most because of the smoke (our week was the fires across the lake)...still had an awesome stay! The house cleaner forgot to clean out fridge and oven but overall it was clean and lots of supplies (beach towels, blankets, pillows). Teresa was very quick to respond to any questions too. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would rent again! Thank you Teresa for sharing your home!

Summary: This is the second time we stay in this lovely home! It is perfect for 2 families. Everybody has more than enough personal space and the house is abundently stocked with kitchen bedroom and bathroom supplies and even water toys! The house is right on the lake, we did not once go to another beach etc in the whole week we were there. And sitting on the jetty at sunset overlooking Okanagen lake is one of the happiest places for all of us to be!😊

Summary: We rented this excellent lakefront home in August , 2014 as a family retreat for our children and grand children. The accommodations were spacious, indeed. The beds were very comfortable ... something that can make or break a vacation! There was an abundance of water related toys for all to play with, as well as overly stocked fridges and cupboards from previous renters. And no shortage of towels for the beach! If you rent here, check the cupboards before going shopping! We had a carefree and restful time, enjoying the water and the beach. Definitely a place to recommend for families with all ages.

Summary: We had a wonderful time with our family at this perfect rental home! There was lots of space for three couples and a little one. We saw deer, bald eagles, osprey, geese, ducks, loons, and tons of hummingbirds and butterflies! We ate raspberries and cherries from the yard a few times a da and wished the grapes and apricots were ready too! The perfect location...close to Vernon to grab groceries or anything else you need but still far enough to feel 'away from it all'. The cabin had all the comforts of home and the owners were so easy to deal with and I really felt care about their home and the guests who stay :) We will be back next year!
