You will easily access the banks of the Saône, the historic Saint Jean district, the Fourvière Basilica, the Croix-Rousse hill, Place des Terreaux, and the Palais Saint-Pierre. You will find all the local shops: bakery, butcher, grocery store (supermarket in Presqu'île open 7/7), many bouchons, bars, coffee shops, and restaurants, as well as typical markets (Saint Antoine or Croix Rousse). You will enjoy the charm of Place Sathonay, just steps away, where you might be tempted to join the locals for a game of pétanque.
