Positive: Maurice is an excellent host and is the proud owner of a beautiful establishment. He has an eye for detail and clearly enjoys hosting his guests. Our second floor bedroom and en-suite was superbly furnished and every detail provided for. Breakfast was magnificent with an excellent range of hot and cold foods, we sampled the creamy hot scrambled egg and the tastiest fried tomatoes we have ever experienced anywhere. We will return.

Negative: Having to leave. The high standard we enjoyed with Maurice has been noticeably missing from other hotels we have used during our trip.

Positive: Hotel facilities, location, host were excellent. Parking was just a short walk away. Maurice treated us like family. Our stay was amazing. Great base for visiting the chateaux’s and sights in the beautiful Loire valley.

Positive: A beautiful and meticulously restored building steeped in history ( C13/14/15) with its stone/wooden spiral staircase. We had a tastefully appointed and spacious bedroom with a quality bathroom. Situated beneath the chateau in a semi-pedestrianised area (garage space available on request) Hosted by a charming. humorous and totally dedicated dynamo who is passionate about his role. Maurice could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is all home produced (apart from the bread) and to describe it as sumptuous would be a total understatement. A jewel of a stay. A la prochaine!
