Summary: Basic but clean. Young lady who dealt with us was nice and friendly. Allowed us into room early which was appreciated. Thank you

Summary: Great wee place, rooms are small but dead cozy with a daft wee sink but great shower. No cooked breakfast despite online photos, maybe because off season, so ask ahead. No evening meal availability again maybe due to season,lovely 20 minute walk to Glen Hotel which is open all year round. Plenty off books,DVD'S and board games for staying inside in the bad weather. Staff are brilliant especially Lizzie and Skipper. Great location for harbour and forest walks. Had a great stay,would definitely go again.

Summary: We had such a brilliant stay here. A lovely family run place. Wonderful breakfast, access to bar where locals are regulars too so had a good night and got some tips for our trip. Lovely spot on the Kintyre peninsula. Would love to go back.

Summary: The hotel owners/hosts, Sharon and John were very welcoming and friendly including Sharon offering to drive me to a local restaurant and later coming back to collect me. The Continental breakfast was generous, varied and more than enough to satisfy and set you up for the day! When I am next in that area, I’ll certainly book to stay at the Ashbank and shall make the recommendation for others to do so too!
