Positive: This peaceful location boasts a well-equipped cottage and fantastic hosts who communicated easily. The cosy fireplace made our stay even more enjoyable and the great location allowed us to explore the peninsula and nearby islands. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return. We loved it!

Positive: Warmly welcomed by hosts to excellent refurbished cottage, formerly spacious barn. Fine spot when you long for spending a few days "in the middle of nowhere". A minus factor is the absence of WIFI and the fact that the approach from Carradale is only via a degraded track uphill, which after all and with some experience takes only about fifteen minutes. We used it as a base to explore Kintyre.

Positive: Location perfect, peaceful, fantastic welcome and hospitality and the cottage a real ‘home from home’ kitted out with everything you could possibly need, comfy beds ,cosy fire, dog friendly. I would whole heartedly recommend Auchnabreac as an a perfect place to stay and unwind!

Positive: Everything was spot on. Brilliant hot mains shower, full range of cooking facilities and equipment. Cosy wood fire and central heating washing machine lots of room. Fenced garden parking for at least 2 vehicles. location is remote so lots of walks next to a river. Accepts a dog. Fresh bread and wine on arrival with washing gels

Negative: it’s not I didn’t like as I knew before no Wi-Fi.
