Negative: The property was located in the quieter area of Torver, apparently 4 miles from Coniston. Torver has an excellent public house ,(Wilson's), which serves very good beers and ales almond with a good menu and special meals. The pub also has a small deli shop with basic foodstuffs which came in handy a few times during our stay. Overall, the accommodation was was very good, the garden was nicely kept which also had a large paved patio and lawn, including a large circular table with six chairs and cushions. A BBQ is provided, which we used every night bar one as we ate out at the local pub one night.
Summary: Lovely location, excellent property, easy access to all of Lakeland, close to the major routes.

Positive: Perfectly located for walking and for the pub close by. Very reasonable price. The cottage was a good size and extremely well equipped right down to foil, clingfilm and condiments - all the things you forget to bring and don't want to buy because you have plenty at home!! Good hot showers and comfy beds. Easy check in with the key safe and helpful information in advance from the host - and parking for 3 cars!!!

Positive: Lovely, spacious cottage in a great location. Private garden with large table, chairs with cushions and large umbrella for shade, just the ticket in the heatwave. Large lounge with two 3 seater recliner sofas and big TV. Comfy beds ensured a good night's sleep.

Positive: Absolutely beautiful cottage and location. Really lovely host who went above and beyond to help. I left an item in the cottage and she posted this back to me which I massively appreciated. The location is perfect for a hike up the Old Man. Way better than staying in Coniston, we thought. Local pub served us well for evening meals too. The cottage itself is lovely. Really clean and rooms perfect. Thank you so much! We will be back!
