Positive: The cottage was clean, warm, well equiped and in the middle of nature. It had all the kitchen gear one needed to cook a meal. It was nice that the owner took the time to talk to us. It gave us an inside vieuw of Islandic life and the challenges the locals are facing.

Positive: Accommodation 5/9 on an 11 day trip around Iceland. We had upgraded our booking for this area, and had had lovely comms with the owner before leaving the UK, but were blown away by how good this place is when we walked in. One of our top three stays in Iceland. A lovely peaceful location, modern and very well equipped, as well as being very well priced; I'd pay more to stay here again. P.S. If you don't have any stale bread, you'll just have to buy an old loaf for the horses before your arrival.
Negative: Nothing. Apart from having to leave so soon.
