Positive: The air con in our room was excellent, very modern and quiet. There was one receptionist who was there most of the time and was very helpful when we had questions. He arranged our shared taxi to Osoam. The location is OK, it is very near the big central market and on a street with a few western restaurants - Lin's restaurant (ex Fat Sams) down the same road is very helpful for getting info about Ko Kong and Cambodia. The hotel building is pretty in the french colonial style and could be nice if they sorted the problems.

Negative: The pool is closed and looks like it would not be open again for a long time, as there was exposed wires in the pool. We stayed 17 May 2024. Looking at other reviews, it has probably been closed a long time. The restaurant/ bar also was closed, the hotel does not have breakfast available to buy, and although they say it has a restaurant and you can see where it would be, there is no food, no menus, no staff catering. All the communal spaces in the hotel are full of sleeping people all day (maybe staff or family of owners?). When we were waiting for a share taxi, there was nowhere to sit because of people lying on the chairs, and they don't move even when there are hotel guests. Like another review said, we also had a staff member come to our room before we checked out to ask if we wanted to extend our stay - even though we had already booked our transport through the hotel. This could be a beautiful hotel if the pool and the restaurant were working and the staff were good, but it is not. A big disappointment. The room was fine, though a little dated and some marks on the bathroom door like someone had written on it in nail varnish

Positive: 14 minutes drive to Cambodia border only good things is this

Negative: Old facilities old building too much mosquito and unsafe door very old tv not work very old airconditioning dirty sheet and towels

Positive: The hotel room had all the necessary amenities: ac, fridge etc. For the price it was more than enough. We did not use the pool as we only stayed overnight before getting back to Thailand. It is conveniently located very close to virak buntham bus stop (if you are coming from kampot/sihanoukville etc).

Negative: The bathroom was kind of bad. The shower was interesting (hanging from the ceiling). The sink was leaking badly and the toilet did not have the flush cover. I mean considering the price it's hard to expect much more. Although the toilet could be better.

Summary: Money to value ratio is ok.
