Positive: Location was excellent. Gym and spa were very good and well equipped.

Negative: Room was not cleaned to standard with a dirty bowl in the toilet. The bathroom smelled heavily of drains. There were no robes in the room as advertised. The staff at reception were not informative. I had to ask what time breakfast, what time served, whether I needed to book etc.

Summary: The hotel is overpriced. I would liken it to Travelodge with a pool. The rooms were not cleaned to standard.

Positive: We loved the whole place. The staff, the rooms and the facilities. It's a lovely place, right in the heart of the main attractions. We would definitely come back in the future.

Negative: The breakfast was not the best. We tried to get some hot breakfast, but we spent so much time waiting for the eggs to come out that the rest of our breakfast got cold. They were not prepared for the number of people having breakfast so there we lots of people waiting for them.

Positive: Hotel close to many of the major attractions. Breakfast first class, plenty of choice our room. Our room quite large, with a large bathroom, tea/ coffee making facilities. Fine toiletries, air conditioning, a large balcony was a bonus. All the staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Swimming pool great.

Negative: Nothing really. That is all l will say.

Summary: Would definitely recommend a stay at the Apex in Bath.

Negative: No windows made it a bit odd but that being said it was still a great stay

Positive: Staff were amazing - very friendly and helpful (especially Jess, who dealt with us from the onset). Rooms were spacious and very comfy - facilities fabulous. It was the attention to the small details that made our stay extra special. Will definitely stay at the hotel again if we get the chance to visit Bath again.

Negative: I could not fault the hotel at all! The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay longer!!!
