Negative: A neighbour had to assist us find the property as the host was away that day/evening. (but it is possible i missed an email somewhere with that info) There was no breakfast or anything other than tea, coffee, sugar and 5 or 6 little pods of milk. I thought there might have been a little cereal and a bottle of milk. An instruction leaflet for overseas visitors would help. We had no idea how to work the hotwater etc. (Chatgpt came to the rescue!)

Positive: Cosy loft cottage is exactly right in what feels like the country, which was lovely for a couple of nights so we could do some walks and visit GOT studio. The nearby cows as neighbours was fun for us novices. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and lounge area comfortable. I failed at starting the fire, but rooms are warm enough with the heaters.

Negative: Not that we didn’t like anything but, prefer a queen size bed to a double, and maybe the shower pressure is normal but not what we’re used to as it was a fairly weak spray-it works but… and maybe that’s just how it is! A misunderstanding between the hosts as to meeting us , but stuff happens and all worked out in the end… and a couple of friendly chats checking all was good was 😊

Positive: Isolation and seclusion. Tech Free weekend... no mobile, wifi didn't open with code provided { was picking up as an extension to the wifi address.} We didn't bother asking host to sort.; didn't even turn on the TV. Big bonus is the Stanley stove, were we had a lite fire on each evening. : kindling, loges and fire lighter provided. Kitchen cum Living room well provided with equipment .. down to the toaster in the press {a la Derry Girls"}. The cosy apartment has a name "The Loft". This is a farmyard Loft, beautifully converted to a small apartment unit.

Negative: Wifi not working wasn't a problem for us, but putting this note here to ensure Host addresses the issue for future clients, who may not want a Tech Free weekend/ stay.

Positive: The loft is a beautiful relaxing place , set in the countryside and so easy to find and peaceful. The accommodation was so clean and bright &spacious . The hosts were avaliable to meet us with the key on arrival &we would like to thank them for their prompt service. Best of luck with your bookings and we cannot wait to return.

Positive: Lovely apartment in lovely quiet peaceful area. Comfy and clean and hosts were so lovely and friendly will definitely be back. The local shop bar and chip shop Chinese is a 5 min drive from the property.
