Positive: Spacious for 2 persons, i needed to be near caserne so it was ok.
Negative: There was a very bad moist smell in the room and cabinets. We had issues on the eve with hot water in the shower and no water at all at certain times the next day.
Summary: The room need a deep cleaning and need to be aerated. The water issues needs to be fixed.

Positive: We loved being on the edge of town and so close to nature. The views of the mountains were spectacular! The host, Ant, was absolutely amazing and willing to do anything to make our stay happy and comfortable.

Positive: Good facilities for cooking and a washing machine. Super view from terrace. Nice quiet location. A little far from the town but walkable and the frequent buses stop very close. Was OK with me arriving mid evening.
Negative: Just a sign would help. The map location is not totally accurate and although I did find it easily it was slightly stressful arriving in the dark and unsure if I was going the right way down a dirt path. But Ant made up for it with his friendliness, perfect English and info on local matters
Summary: Best introduction to Mauritius I could hope for!
