Positive: Very spacious. The three bathrooms were a great bonus. Loved the fresh eggs provided by Mai and Jim. Excellent range of cooking utensils. Very good value for money

Positive: Everything! It ticked every box. It was obvious the care and attention the owners gave to this unique irish cottage. There was a stunning view from every window, including views of dunamuna Castle abd Tuffys bar, a short distance from Castlebar. The authenticity of the building vernacular feature was a real treat. There was an open stove with a well stocked wood store. It was easy to see how much care and attention the owners put into Annies Cottage. The kitchen was fully equipped and had every kitchen utensil you could wish for, double oven and grill. The sash windows and interior joinery was stunning, right down to the door handles. The history to this beautiful Irish Cottage and the style that was maintained through out made it all the more special. I can honestly say I miss it already and will definitely be back. We were made so welcome and the finishing touches of supplying us with fresh hens eggs, waking up every morning to the lull of sheep baba ba-ing 😊 Every bedroom had an ensuite, and the bedlinen and towels pristine and beautifully presented. The natural stone flag stone floors and the court corners and seating allowed everyone to relax and switch off from reality fir a little while. I felt like I landed in a meadow facedown and surrounded by the warmth abd loveliness of Annies Cottage & welcome from the Family 🥰 We all felt very blessed to of had the time there 🙏 thank you x
